Germany's Linde, a key manufacturer of gas separation and liquefaction equipment, refused to work on the project of Gazprom and Rusgazdobycha to build an LNG plant in Ust-Luga, Kommersant sources learned. Linde is an EPC Contractor and part of the equipment supplier within the project. The German company has already left SIBUR's Amursky GHK project and left a joint venture with Severstal to make heat exchangers. The uncertainty with the LNG plant project after Linde's departure is likely to affect the technologically connected project of the gas chemical plant construction in Ust-Luga as well.
