Oil trader Vitol S.A. has agreed to sell its stake in Rosneft's Vostok Oil project and is in the process of sorting out the legal formalities necessary to close the deal. The company did not specify who will be the buyer and the amount of the deal. The consortium of Vitol and Mercantile & Maritime Energy acquired a 5% stake in Vostok Oil last October for €3.5 billion.
