European Court of Justice has ruled that there was an error in the decision of the EU Court of Common Pleas rejecting the claim that the amendments to the EU Gas Directive for Nord Stream 2 were discriminatory in nature. The higher court disagreed with the conclusions of the general jurisdiction court that the pipeline was not directly affected by the directive. Based on the current decision, the pipeline operator can file a lawsuit against the EU gas directive again to the European Court of Justice for reconsideration.
