Russia's energy supplies to China increased 70% year-on-year to 2.65 billion kWh worth $125 million. Herewith exports are still below the capacity limit of the power grid. Late last year, Inter RAO reported that it could export a record 4.4 billion kWh of electricity to China in 2022. Russia is also increasing exports to Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Mongolia. However, the total volume is still below last year's level due to the loss of the EU market.
