In August accounts on Moscow Exchange were opened by 421 thousand people, which is 30% less than a year earlier and 9% more than in July. Total number of private investors exceeded 21.2 mln. Number of investors making transactions on stock market in August reached a level of previous year and amounted to 2.1 mln, which is 10.5% more as compared with 1.9 mln. in the previous month.
