CEO of PhosAgro Mikhail Rybnikov sent a request to Vladimir Putin in late December to change the parameters of the export duty, equalizing the conditions for different types of fertilizers. This approach, according to company, discriminates against more technologically advanced, but less marginal producers of phosphate and complex fertilizers. If it is not changed, the profitability of production of phosphate and complex fertilizers will drop to about 10%, which will lead to lower investments in the future.
