Automobile Concern Kamaz has begun preparations for testing unmanned vehicles on the M-11 Neva Highway as part of Unmanned Logistics Corridors project. Work is now underway to create a high-precision digital road map, which will allow the robot car to position itself with an accuracy of a few centimeters and have full information about infrastructure facilities on the road: signs, traffic lights, weather stations, bridges, interchanges, curbs and exits.
