Commercial cargo transportation by unmanned vehicles along the M11 Neva highway between Moscow and St. Petersburg will begin in June 2023. At the initial stage, cargo will be transported by five trucks with an operator in the passenger seat. Completely abandon the presence of a person in the cab is planned by 2025, when the bypass around Tver will be completed. To date, the automobile concern has already assembled two of the five trucks for unmanned driving. In 2024, it plans to produce up to 50 such vehicles.
