Segezha Group will make a decision on the implementation of the project to build a new pulp and paper mill in Karelia not earlier than 2025. This project of the Segezha-West pulp and paper mill remains on the agenda. However, after the introduction of sanctions in 2022, the feasibility and possibility of its implementation were questioned due to the lack of foreign equipment and the closure of European markets, which the project was focused on.
