Phosagro is studying the possibility of building new ammonia and urea complexes in Cherepovets and Volkhov, the company's general director Mikhail Rybnikov said. He did not specify the details of the future projects. In mid-2021 the former CEO of Phosagro Andrey Guriev, Jr. said in an interview with Interfax that the company was thinking about a nitrogen plant. Cherepovets or Volkhov were also considered as a site.
