Utair Airlines has resumed passenger operations on four of the nine Boeing 737-800 aircraft that were taken out of service in March 2022 at the request of leasing companies. Planes received Russian registration numbers and have been operating domestic flights since around the beginning of March 2023, according to aircraft tracking service RadarBox. Airline had previously planned to buy back the nine Boeing 737-800s under operating lease.
