Novatek is working on the possibility of building a new large-capacity LNG project in the Murmansk Region, consisting of three liquefaction lines with a capacity of 6.8 million tons each. Launch of the first two lines is scheduled for 2027, and the third line - for the end of 2029. Novatek plans to get gas for the plant from the Unified Gas Supply System, for which it is necessary to agree with Gazprom and build a gas pipeline Volkhov-Murmansk-Belokamenka with the length of 1,3 thousand km.
