Roskomnadzor discussed with Russian smartphone manufacturers and operating system developers the finalization of the Aurora OS and its adaptation to mobile devices. Project was estimated at ₽300 billion until 2027, when the OS should enter the consumer segment. Authorities also suggested that domestic developers create a specialized association. Experts believe that under the current conditions, Russian operating systems can only be developed with government funding.
