Container market may fully recover by 2025

Russia's container market may fully recover in 2025 after a decline in 2022, believes commercial director of VMTP, part of Fesco Group, Elena Kazarina. Market recovery can already be observed now - containerized cargo traffic in all basins of Russia is showing growth. In 2021, the average monthly total market volume for the three basins: South, Northwest and Far East was over 400,000 TEU. In the current year, the cargo flow is at 320 thousand TEU.
