Alrosa to start alluvial gold mining in Yakutia

Alrosa identified and put on the state balance sheet placer gold reserves at two subsoil areas Borosku-Unguokhtakhtakh and Khaptasynnykh-2. Deposits are located in the Olenek ulus of Yakutia. Reserves of precious metal by categories C1+C2 amount to 786.6 kg. In addition, exploration works and pilot placer development will start in the near future at the Haptassynnakh Creek deposit. Commissioning is scheduled for 2025.
