USA extends sanctions against Arctic LNG 2

USA imposed sanctions against Chinese companies involved in the construction and transportation of modules for the Arctic LNG 2 project. Sanctions list also includes eight subsidiaries of Novatek China Holdings Co Ltd. It is specified that this company was established in August 2023. It is engaged in the implementation of the LNG sales program from the Arctic LNG 2 project. New sanctions are also imposed on Novatek's medium-tonnage LNG plant in the Leningrad Region - Cryogas Vysotsk LLC, and vessels operating at Yamal LNG.
