The Equinix Board of Directors announced a quarterly dividend of $3.1 per share. The last day to buy securities to receive the dividend is May 16, 2022. The annual dividend yield may reach 1.55%.

Equinix's funds from operations for the 3 months of 2022 were $432.644 million, up 3.7% from $417.263 million in the previous year. Revenue increased 8.7% to $1.735 billion from $1.596 billion a year earlier.

Equinix completed the acquisition of Africa's MainOne for $320 million. The company owns three operational data centers and one data center under construction, which will open in Q1 2022. MainOne also owns a submarine communications network from Nigeria to Portugal and a 1,200 km fiber-optic terrestrial network in southern Nigeria.

Funds from operations of Equinix for 2021 were $1.573 billion, up 20.9% from $1.301 billion in the previous year. Revenue rose 10.6% to $6.636 billion from $5.999 billion a year earlier.
