Nutrien plans to build a pure ammonia plant with low CO2 emissions in Louisiana. The capacity of the production site is estimated at 1.2 million tons of ammonia per year. The investment in the project will be about $2 million. A final investment decision is expected in 2023, with construction beginning in 2024 and reaching full capacity by 2027.
