Walmart became the first retailer whose products can be purchased directly on Roku. Viewers simply press "OK" on the remote in the ad and proceed to checkout by filling out their payment details from Roku Pay in advance.

Netflix may buy TV set-top box manufacturer Roku, sources told Business Insider. The information came amid a sharp decline in the company's stock price and sales volume. Both companies declined to comment.

Roku's GAAP loss for 3 months of 2022 was $26.306 million, compared to a profit of $76.296 million in the previous year. Revenue increased 27.8% to $733.699 million from $574.183 million a year earlier.

Amazon and Roku have renewed their distribution agreement. Customers will continue to use the Prime Video and IMDb TV apps on their Roku devices. The companies did not disclose the terms of the agreement.
