Kamaz automobile concern assembled the first prototype of the in-line six-cylinder Euro-6 environmental class engine under development. This engine should have 5 times less emissions of nitrogen oxides, 3 times less emissions of particulates and 2.5 times less emissions of ammonia with exhaust gases, the company notes. It is supposed to produce a whole range of engines with a working volume of 13 liters, capacity from 420 to 560 horsepower.
