Cowen has completed the acquisition of Portico Capital Advisors, which provides advisory services in M&A transactions. Cowen expects the acquisition will result in a 20% increase in advisory services revenue for fiscal year 2022. The payment consisted of 75% cash and 25% stock. The company did not disclose the amount of the deal.
