Germany's antimonopoly agency has allowed Rosneft to increase its stake in the RGC refinery in Schwedt. The company intends to exercise its pre-emptive right to buy 37.5% in the refinery from Shell. As a result of the deal Rosneft's share will increase from 54.17% to 91.67%. The location of the refinery allows the delivery of Urals oil through the Druzhba pipeline. The annual capacity of the refinery is 11.6 mln tons of petroleum products.
