FESCO has launched a regular railway container service European Railway Network to deliver goods from Russia to Europe and vice versa. The first FERN train left St. Petersburg on April 27 this year. Trains with containers will depart from Russia to Europe every week, and from Europe to Russia - once in 3-4 days. Transit time will be about 18 days in both directions. The basis of cargo traffic will be consumer goods, foodstuffs and sawn timber.
