Automobile manufacturer Kamaz plans to agree on the production of Chinese JAC cars under the Moskvich brand at the former Renault plant, sources told Vedomosti. Production of cars with internal combustion engines is expected to start first, and then - of electric cars. Kamaz is considering the JAC iEVS4 model for localization. It is expected to start production at the plant not later than Q4 2022. Earlier JAC iEV7 electric cars were used in Russia for MoreElectric, a Crimean carsharing service.
