Five Chinese companies may stop participating in the Arctic LNG-2 project due to EU sanctions, sources told the South China Morning Post. According to them, the manufacturers have received notifications to stop working on modules for the project by the end of the month. However, the final decision on withdrawal from the project by Novatek has not been made yet, the company is "in close contact with the parties involved," as the situation changes every day.
