In conditions of Western sanctions, Russia needs to look for alternative instruments for international settlements, including digital financial assets, Central Bank deputy chairman Vladimir Chistyukhin said at a legal forum. "We have a good project on gold tokenization, which the Central Bank launched, and the infrastructure will definitely participate in this," commented on statement of former colleague Sergei Shvetsov, who is currently heading the supervisory board of Moscow Exchange.
