TotalEnergies is starting the first phase of pre-design engineering studies at its LNG project in Papua New Guinea. The plant will have a capacity of 5.6 million tons. LNG per year. It will liquefy gas from the Elk and Antelope fields, where Total owns 31.1% in the production project. The final investment decision is expected to be made at the end of 2023, and the plant is scheduled to start up at the end of 2027.
