OGK-2's Surgutskaya GRES-1 intends to perform a complete modernization of four power units, including replacement of main and auxiliary equipment. The work is scheduled to start in 2023. The new domestically produced capacities will have higher efficiency and reliability in operation. Installed electric capacity of Surgutskaya GRES-1 at the moment is 3 333 MW. Installed heat capacity is 903 Gcal.
