Russian Railways has found a way to increase the shipment of containers from the Far East. According to the monopoly, there are difficulties with transportation, including transit transportation, through Nakhodka. It is proposed to solve them by installing containers in gondola cars which have unloaded coal in the port. However, local stevedores are not quite ready for the transition to such technology, and experts think that the choice of transportation in open cars instead of fitting platforms should be made only if all participants of the process want it.
