VTB buys Otkrytie ₽340 billion

Bank of Russia and VTB entered into the agreement on sale of 100% shares of Otkritie Financial Corporation. Amount of the deal is ₽340 billion, of which ₽233.1 billion will be paid in cash and another ₽106.8 billion in federal loan bonds. Ownership will be transferred to VTB no later than December 31, 2022.
