X5 Retail Group summarized the results of the management experiment that took place in more than 1,000 Pyaterochka stores. Store managers were given the authority of business owners: they began to launch marketing campaigns, manage the range and budget of the supermarket, change its work schedule, expand or reduce the staff. As a result, such managers earned for the retail chain additional ₽158 million, and their own income for 2022 was 30% more than that of store managers working as usual.
