Kazakhstan represented by the Ministry of Energy and the national company KazMunayGas signed a contract with Lukoil for the production of hydrocarbons in the Kalamkas-Sea, Khazar, Auezov, located in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea. Implementation of this project involves the payment of a signature bonus of $32 million, attracting direct investment of more than $6 billion. It is expected that production will begin in 2028 and will be 3-4 million tons per year.
