Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on a refundable tax deduction for Gazprom Neft. Document provides a tax deduction for MET in the amount of ₽1.111 billion per month in the period from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2029 within the limits of the costs of construction of transport infrastructure for the fields in Yamal. Entire amount of the deduction received, increased by 9% per annum, is to be returned to the budget between April 1, 2029 and March 31, 2035.
