Netflix is preparing to open an office in Vietnam after several years of negotiations with the authorities and the completion of a risk assessment, sources told Reuters. Office may open as early as the end of 2023, but it is possible that it will take longer to obtain a license. Since January this year, Vietnam has required video-on-demand service providers to obtain licenses and open offices, but the details of the procedure remain unclear. Netflix declined to comment on its plans and current activities in Vietnam.
