Nornickel's Bystrinsky mine plans to increase its production capacity from the current 10 million tons per year to 15 million tons per year. In the future, the capacity of the plant will increase to 20 million tons. Growth will be driven by the launch of a high-pressure grinding section in 2024, which will make it possible to start processing oxidized ores. In addition, by 2025-2026 the combine intends to build another concentrator to process the ore. Its capacity will be 2.7 million tons per year.
