MMK will create an import-substituting production facility for rolling rolls. The capacity of the new shop will be about 24 thousand tons of products per year. Investment in the project will exceed ₽14 billion. Main consumers of the new products will be large metallurgical companies, including MMK itself, Severstal, NLMK, EVRAZ, Mechel, ChTPZ and Krasny Oktyabr. First stage of the project will be realized in the second quarter of 2025. Completion of the project is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
