Krasny Oktyabr was the first in Russia to receive a halal certificate

Roskachestvo issued Russia's first official halal certificate. Some of the products of the Krasny Oktyabr confectionery factory have been recognized as halal, including Alenka, Grilyazhnye, Kozinachki with Salt, Bird's Milk, Alenka chocolate and Babaevsky bitter chocolate. According to Roskachestvo, halal confectionery products should not, in particular, contain gelatin and carmine. In total, more than 70 applications for certification according to halal requirements have been submitted.
