Gas production at the Arctic LNG-2 project in February 2024 amounted to 83 million cubic meters, which is 3 times less than in January and 5 times lower than in December. Main reason for the decrease was the delay in the start of LNG shipments due to the shortage of gas tankers amid anti-Russian sanctions, sources told Vedomosti. Analysts estimate that the first line of the plant requires production of 800-900 million cubic meters per month.
