OGK-2 increased electricity generation by 16.2% in the 1st half of the year

OGK-2's power plants generated 28 bln kWh in the first six months of 2024, which is 16.2% higher than a year earlier. Change in production volumes was due to increased demand for generating equipment. Heat supply amounted to 3.065 mln Gcal, having increased by 6.9%. Main reason for the increase was the growth of heat consumption from Kirishskaya GRES and Surgutskaya GRES-1.
