Alrosa to invest in gold mining in the Magadan region ₽24 billion

Alrosa and the government of Magadan region signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of the project for the development of the Degdekan gold deposit located in the Tenkinsky municipal district of Magadan region. It is planned to build a new gold extraction plant at the deposit with a capacity of up to 5 tons of gold per year. Investment in the project will amount to ₽24 billion.
