Nguya FLNG floating plant with a capacity of 2.4 million tons per year left the Chinese shipyard for the shores of Congo as part of the Congo LNG project, where gas will be liquefied under the Marine XII concession. After the launch of Nguya FLNG, the total capacity of the project will reach 3 million tons per year by the end of the year. The operator of the project is the Italian Eni with a 65% stake, another 25% belongs to Lukoil, and the remaining 10% belongs to the state-owned Societe Nationale des Petroles du Congo.
