Russian government refused to transfer the state-owned 35.91% stake in Rostelecom to the state corporation Rostec, Kommersant sources said. One of the reasons for the refusal was the fear that the relevant Deputy Prime Minister and member of Rostelecom's Board of Directors Dmitry Chernyshenko, as well as the Ministry of Finance, would lose their leverage over the company.
