Lukoil's share in the joint project with Kazakhstan's state company KazMunayGas will be 50%. In early February, Kazakhstan represented by the Ministry of Energy and the national company KazMunayGas signed a contract with Lukoil for the production of hydrocarbons at the Kalamkas-Sea, Khazar, Auezov, located in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea. Implementation of this project involves direct investments of more than $6 billion. It is expected that production will begin in 2028 and will amount to 3-4 million tons per year.
