Lukoil's oil company has transshipped oil under a board-to-board scheme in Russian territorial waters near Kaliningrad, sources told Reuters and showed data from Eikon's vessel-tracking system. The shipment of 100,000 tons of Urals oil was loaded onto the Andaman Skies tanker chartered by Lukoil trader Litasco in Primorsk in the Baltic Sea, then transferred to the Ruby Phoenix tanker. Transshipment in Kaliningrad allows saving on freight, as the rates for ice-class vessels are higher.
