State Assembly of Yakutia adopted the law on the management and disposal of Alrosa shares, which excludes the possibility of the republic's share decreasing during the additional share issue. One of the authors of the bill explained that the need to detail the normative fixation of the republic's share in Alrosa arose after the adoption of amendments to the Civil Code in 2014. Now Yakutia owns 25% of shares, another 8% of shares are owned by Yakut uluses. Last additional issue of Alrosa shares took place at the end of 2011.
