NOVATEK

President Vladimir Putin signed a law allowing Novatek's subsidiaries to export liquefied natural gas without being tied to specific fields. In addition, the bill will allow Novatek to directly export LNG from the operating Cryogas-Vysotsk project. Currently, Kriogaz-Vysotsk exports LNG under an agency agreement with Gazprom Export.

Rosneft Oil Company

Russian President Vladimir Putin approved amendments to the law On Gas Exports, which authorize LNG exports from gas from onshore subsoil areas north of 67 degrees north latitude. Thus, Rosneft obtained the right to export LNG from 36 fields in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Nenets and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs.
