Ford has launched production of the E-Transit electric car in Turkey. In the future, the carmaker will expand the plant's capacity to produce up to 650,000 electric cars. In addition, an assembly line will be created at the site to produce 130,000 batteries. The total investment will amount to $2.2 billion.
