MTS has launched a biometric service for customer service in communication stores. The function makes it possible to use the operator's services without showing a passport: to change the number, SIM card, tariff plan, connect services and carry out other operations. In order to use the service a client has to have his/her photo taken and a digital "cast" made onto the MTS Biometric Identification Platform. With the help of biometrics the operator plans to remotely serve customers from anywhere in the world.
