The company has already received permission from the regulator in India to open an office in Mumbai. The bank's first office in India opened in 2010 in New Delhi. Earlier, Anatoly Popov, deputy chairman of the bank's board, said that in 2022 the volume of payments in national currencies from Russia to India through Sber has multiplied.
