Mechel's coal production in 3 months of 2023 amounted to 2.105 million tonnes, down 25% year-on-year. Production of pig iron and steel decreased by 2% and 3%, amounting to 835 thousand tonnes and 906 thousand tonnes, respectively. Sales of long products decreased by 7% to 595,000 tonnes, while sales of flat products increased by 9% to 111,000 tonnes. Coking coal concentrate sales volumes decreased by 35% to 553 thousand tonnes.
